There are many names for it but one thing is certain, acrylic based materials cut beautifully on the laser systems. Acrylic is one of the most popular materials used by laser operators on a daily basis.

Lasering acrylic has the advantage of getting a finished or polished edge with only one operation. No secondary work is needed. The laser also allows for crisp sharp corners as we are not limited by the size of a tool bit. Our lasers will cut acrylic with a fire polished edge quality. A special lens can be used when cutting thick acrylic resulting in a straight cut edge with only one pass of the laser beam. Multiple rastering techniques can be used to etch a frosty white mark or a clear and smooth engraved look.
